Troop 1818 is the only Jewish, Shomer-Shabbat and Kosher Boy ScoutTroop in the northern Virginia region. Activities are scheduled and designed so that observant Jewish Scouts can experience the full Scouting program without having to deal with conflicts between Scouting activities and their religious obligations.

All boys are welcome to join regardless of religious background.

Boys at least 11 years old (or 10 years old and completed 5th grade) and not yet 18 years old can join join Boy Scout Troop 1818. For more information on Troop 1818, including information about joining, contact the Scoutmaster, Robert Book at
